I have memorize 20 juzz, most of it is gone, every time I want to start on revision after grasping 5 juzz [because I usually start from juzz Amma going forward to Tabarak and so on] , I find my self reluctant again. Then when I decide again, I start from Surah Hud going down or sometime from Yasin going down. Then I master back then again I became reluctant. I once decided to start memorization from the parts that I have no Hifdh, but when I memorize half of juzz , I give up. So I keep going back and forth here and there. Even though I've maintained my daily recitation of 2and a half juzz, but I get it tough to do the hifdh and revision.
Please what is your advice and which method is the best for me, considering I work 10 hours daily with only two day off in a month.
Aslam Alikum would you guide me which approach should I use? I am a housewife with little baby girl. (No support I have to do housekeeping by myself).
I had memorised earlier but forgot due to my studies job before marriage. I re memorised 9 Juz earlier in 2024 then gap came in again and now I am re memorising Surah Kahf.
I feel like this approach can get frustrating especially when you want to at least use your Qur'an, for example if I want to lead taraweeh I wouldn't feel comfortable because I haven't revised any of my previous portions. And to think you'd have to wait for your 15th, 20th or 30th khatm before you become strong this is even more worrying especially if a khatm takes you long because of family and work commitments. I wonder if adding a reading programme along side this to read 2-3 juz a day looking in would help at least keep the Qur'an somewhat fresh.

Possibly, maybe for taraweeh purposes you might need to be more stringent
But definitely a read through prog sounds good
